My husband and I really haven't gotten each other Christmas , birthday or Valentine gifts the past few years. We don't need anything plus if we see something that would be a meaningful gift, we get it and give it, not waiting for a special occasion. We have always been big on making gifts or doing something special for everyone. We always try to be practical and/or personal in what we do. Some little thing someone made for me can mean as much as something someone spent a fair amount of money on. It really is the thought that counts. Great ideas.
